After visiting Scotland this summer, there were so many ideas and images brewing in my head I had to paint something inspired by that beautiful country. This is the first I managed to finish.
During the process I constantly referred to paintings by Jaime Jones and Frederic Edwin Church, two artist I greatly admire. I made the painting slowly over two weeks taking care not to rush it and to evaluate each step. I hope you like it.
