My initial inspiration for this piece were the streets presented in Blade Runner. However, it's difficult (or impossible) to see that here. The image is made up of contrasts: narrow/wide, near/far, cold/warm, fire/water, light/shadow
What I wanted to convey here is more or less the hidden secrets that an immense city can present...those little alleys that noone knows about, but can open a world.
