My initial idea (and the one I tried to keep) was a female warrior's last stand against an incoming army. I wanted to create mood by turning the threat into a shade immersed in deep mist. The viewer shares the same point of view as the heroine, making him relate closer to her. The choice of colors underlines the two opposing sides and also characterizes them: a cold misterious army marching against a warm, almost innocent victim. However, her stance denotes security and calm, and the cluttered silhouette of the army hints to an unorganized, cowardly threat. If you would like to see the work in progress you can find it here:
